Parking in Aït Benhaddou can be somewhat tricky due to its popularity with tourists. There are paid parking lots available nearby, including at the base of the ksar for a small fee.
Aït Benhaddou has long been featured in movies and TV shows making ‘movie tourism’ a popular activity. Notable films shot here include Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. The ksar itself is a must-visit. The ascent to the granary at the top of the hill is well worth the effort for its breathtaking views.
