As in the rest of Greece, driving is on the right side of the road. The speed limit in Milos is generally 50km/h in urban areas and 90km/h on highways. Seat belts are mandatory for all passengers, and use of mobile phones while driving is prohibited unless using a hands-free device.
Milos Town boasts many must-visit attractions, such as the Castle of Milos, which offers breathtaking views of the island, and the Archaeological Museum housing the original statue of Aphrodite. Don't forget to visit the quaint fishing villages of Klima, Mandrakia, and Firopotamos.
Parking in Plaka tends to be scarce in the summer months, so consider parking your rental car at the base of the town and walking upwards. There are several free parking lots available.

Access to Milos is generally through Adamas Port and Milos Airport. The island also features a network of bus lines, small boat services, and taxis, although rental cars remain a favourite choice for comfort and convenience.
The island enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The best time to visit is from May to October when the weather is warm and ideal for beach activities.
